Boules American Style Fun Tournament 2026

Singles and Doubles format:

For the qualifying dates we can now host up to 16 people. The club will ask for an email to lltccomps@gmail.com from yourself before each session to help gauge numbers.

The qualifying stages is based on the Americans format, you will pull a number out of the bag.

You will play several times with different people each time you play.

You will play four ends using two boules each.

The score at the end will be added to your tally.

Each person will throw the jack once.

Each team from each end.

For example players 1,3 are a team against 2,4. 4 would throw first followed by 1 and 3 with two for the final end.

The number of points is then added up at the end of the session if you turn up to more than one session it will be added to your other points from those sessions. Then divide by how many sessions you came to.

At the end of the qualifying stages the higher average of points will give us seeding to then organise the Singles and Doubles stages. These matches will be played first to 13, best of 3. You will be using 3 boules each. Boules Tournament Qualifying dates: Saturday 18th April 4pm Saturday 25th April 4pm Saturday 16th May 5pm Friday 29th May 6am Saturday 6th June 5pm Saturday 20th June 12pm Quarter finals: To be played by the 17th July and semi finals by the 30th July.

Finals day: 1st August

Singles: 2pm.

Doubles: 3.30pm. Followed by Bastille Day Boules Social from 5pm.
