It really is great to be able to tell you about yesterday and be able to begin by saying that even the weather was good.

On what was a lovely, warm spring day you had to be there really to get a true sense of the fierce competitiveness displayed by all concerned; bottles, knives, you name it – they were all employed by the players and even the spectators joined in – a very enjoyable BBQ.

The tennis? Oh yes – it was a doubles tournament and was won by Andrew Simpson and Roger White who didn’t drop a set. Well done guys.
