10 teams turning up would have been great and anything more than 10 was to be considered a bonus. As it turned out, 11 teams were there to compete in the Charity Quiz in aid of Lincolnshire Air Ambulance (LAA) and a great night was had by all. Congratulations to The Rude Boys who came 1st, The Ever Hopeful Dolly Birds for grabbing 2nd spot and The Bees Knees for a proud 3rd.

Many thanks to everyone – the local businesses that donated prizes and or put up posters, the support of Lynn at the Wheatsheaf for allowing us to host the event in the pub, the teams for making it fun and everyone who in some way or other lent a hand and backed the cause.

With an entry fee of £4 per team perhaps we couldn’t expect any more than £44 to be raised but due to peoples generosity in wanting to support an organisation as wonderful as the LAA, £142.14 was raised. Everybody won last night.
